Okay friends, we need to have an important conversation today and it's interesting because I've actually shared about this

concept on social media a couple of times and every time that I do it seems to really resonate and I didn't expect that the first time I posted it

I just kind of shared it as a thought and it really jumped out at me how many women especially

Resonated with this and so I figured it would be good to turn this into podcast episodes that it has a more permanent place

Versus just on Instagram and so today I want to talk it's gonna be a really short and sweet conversation

Probably just a handful of minutes quick hit kind of hopefully an encouraging little episode just for me to you

About a word that we need to drop from our vocabulary especially as women when we are talking about what we do especially

I think we can drop this word across the board

But especially when we are referring to what we do what we do for work what we do is our occupation

Etc there's a word that I think we subconsciously use a lot and it actually communicates a lot more than we realize and it's something we need to drop

So without further ado, let's jump into the word we need to drop from our vocabulary

Especially when referring to what we do

All right, so tell me if you've ever noticed a friend or a

Sister or someone you know when they're talking about what they do whether their occupation is being a state-owned mom or their occupation

Is being a teacher or the occupation is you know, maybe a job they don't find very interesting or they are starting a side hustle or something like that

I'm curious if you've ever heard someone say something like oh, I'm just a stay-at-home mom. Oh, I'm just a teacher

What do you do? Oh, it's just you know, it's just a little thing. Oh, I'm just an accountant. Oh, I'm just you know

And I think we kind of do that to I think it's like in an effort to be humble or

To not seem like we're bragging or it's because we don't actually think that highly of what we do and we don't even maybe

Realize that we're saying it. I'm curious if you've ever said oh, I'm just a mom. Oh, I'm just a teacher
