This podcast actually began in a hotel room in California in August of 2017.

Now, when I say it began, it was an idea. I had attended, was attending a podcast conference

and was trying to come up with an idea for a podcast, trying to think of something

that I could talk about, that people would be interested in, that I knew something about,

and I'm pacing the hotel room back and forth, back and forth, and within a minute, because walking

helps you think better, within a minute, I thought, hey,

I like to walk. One of the things that I had consistently been hearing from others was, I wish I

could get more steps. And so I thought, I'll do a podcast helping listeners get more steps.
