Okay, so I am at Publix in Thomasville, Georgia, looking at some eggs.

619 for a 12 count for an 18. If you've been to the grocery store lately, you know that egg prices are no yolk.. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Had to do it.

So have just seen how much eggs are now at Costco? These were $8.50 two weeks ago. They're

$11.99 right now. Not only are the egg prices like $15 up where I'm located at in Brooklyn,

but even if you are willing to pay that amount, the shelves are just wipes completely clean.

I mean, there's barely any eggs at all.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average cost of a dozen large grade A eggs hit $4.95 in January, the highest in 45 years.

One bodega in New York City has even resorted to selling sets of three loose eggs for those who can't afford a dozen.
