Imagine getting a rose and a heartfelt card when you weren't expecting one.

That's the pleasant surprise that thousands of seniors are getting this Valentine's Day season in all 50 states, thanks to wish of a lifetime from AARP's Cupid crew.

The nonprofit has been making these holiday deliveries for 12 years now.

Happy Valentine's Day! We've now delivered over a million roses around the world on Valentine's Day,

and we have tens of thousands of volunteers who join the Cupid crew movement all around the country, literally in every state, to hand out roses, to isolated seniors.

And it's just such a heartwarming program.

Jeremy Bloom is the founder of Wish of a Lifetime from AARP, a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to seniors all year round.

We want seniors to know they're loved, that they're acknowledged, that we're paying attention

to them, that we care about them, and we just want to make them feel good on Valentine's Day.

Barbara Lotz from Colorado has been volunteering for the Cupid crew for three years.

This year, she organized fundraisers to pay for 1,000 roses for her crew of 30 plus volunteers to deliver to 20 different
