Genesis chapter 22 and the title of today's message is one provider.

One provider.

Now I'm going to share something with you about myself that maybe you wouldn't think, but I have struggled with this area much of my life.

Not the area would God provide for me, but would I be able to provide. Have you ever had those thoughts, will I be able to provide?

Have you ever had those thoughts, will I be able to provide?

Maybe when you left home and went out on your own for the first time, maybe when you bought your

first home, maybe when you got married, maybe when you bought a larger home, moved to a different area of the city, maybe you kids started college or something.

We have these thoughts, will I be able to provide?

Well, here's what I want to tell you.

There's only one provider.

There's only one.

And let me show you how Abraham got this revelation.

Genesis chapter 22, verse 6.

So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son and he took the

fire in his hand and the knife and the two of them went together.

I know that you probably read this story before, but let this impact you as a parent.

I want you to think about this, what Abraham, what was going through his heart and mind

while he's walking up the hill with his son with a knife in his hand.

But Isaac spoke to Abraham and his father and said, my father.

And he said, here I am my son.

And then he said, look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering and Abraham

said what an incredible statement of faith this was, my son God will provide for himself the Lamb for a
