0:48.0	expecting the Messiah to come and build a kingdom on this earth.
0:55.0	We talked about a few weeks ago that there is a kingdom that's not of this world
1:02.0	and that's where we're supposed to put our treasure.
1:04.6	We're supposed to put our treasure in heaven.
1:06.8	Well the Jewish disciples had built a doctrine over the years that the Messiah would return and restore the kingdom to Israel.
1:16.6	Now let me tell you what their concept of the kingdom was.
1:20.0	It was to be rich and famous and powerful.
1:24.8	That was their concept.
1:26.2	Now let's not beat around the bush.
1:28.5	That was their concept of the kingdom.
1:31.3	Your sin nature, the nature you your flesh wants to be rich, popular and powerful. Don't give me a lot.
1:36.0	Your flesh wants to be rich, popular, and powerful.
