Today's 10-minute walk is helping you keep your fitness promise, which adds another link to your growing fitness chain.

We've reached that time of year where there are trees in our community that have acorns. And the acorns are dropping and the shell.

So there's the acorn, the hard part,

and then there's the top part, which is the shell.

It kind of looks like a little hat on the acorn.

And oftentimes when the acorns hit the ground,

they separate.

And so you have the acorn part on, laying there on the sidewalk by itself, and then the

little shell, a little hat part also sitting there without the acorn inside.

Ava and I, when we're out for our walks, we love when we hit these stretches of sidewalk that have the acorns scattered about.

We love stepping on the little shell part, the little hat part, and getting them to crunch.

And it becomes this game that we play as we're walking.

It's like, who can make the loudest crunching sound, cracking sound, popping sound as we're stepping on these acorns.

And I wish where I'm walking now, I just checked, where I'm walking now doesn't have them.

I'd love for you to hear what it sounds like, but we were out walking last night.

And when we saw the acorns,

we were like giddy little kids. It's like, oh, look. And we're stepping on them and making

noises and just one of the fun, goofy things we do while we're out walking. So earlier this year,

I set a goal. I think it was maybe early summer. And the goal is to reach

one million walks by the end of this year. And here's how I'm defining a walk. Most people overwhelmingly,
