At some point or another, it's going to happen to a lot of you guys.

You're going to start taking care of your parents.

You become the parents, right?

And you start taking care of them.

Our producer, Justin Romeo, is feeling like it's just starting to happen a little bit,

or has it been happening for a while?

I think it's always happened.

And I think that's a little bit of the downfall, I guess, or of a little bit of what I'd like to say,

is a little curse of being a first child of immigrants, you know?

Because I think my entire life growing up, I've always taken care of them.

Every single time, I feel like I've always looked at their financial records and like,

help my mom with when it comes to technology and like, looking up and seeing how to pay bills online,

or how to like, you know, manage her.

Like, I remember going into the banks with her and helping translate.

I remember going to doctors with them and helping translate.

So I think my entire life, I've always been on the lookout for them.

I think you've said this before too.

There's a different kind of pressure to be the child of immigrant parents because they risk so much.

And it was went through so many obstacles to get here that you have felt that pressure.

Yeah, no, yeah, definitely.

I feel like I always have to be perfect.
