Jonah chapter 2, verse 1, we are in the second installment of a series called Running Towards His Plan. What I love about this story, if you missed last week, let me just kind of do some

recap. In the book of Jonah, God speaks to him and says, Jonah, my prophet, my God. I want you to go to

Nineveh and tell all the people that don't know about me, tell them how good I am, how loving and

compassionate, how gracious I am.

Jonah, who is actually dealing with racism,

does not want these people to get a shot at the good news.

I want to say here at our church,

how dare any of us think that some people are deserving

and some people are undeserving of the good news of

Jesus Christ.

Come on, anybody thankful that God loves all people of all colors, of all backgrounds, of all

languages.
