Jonah chapter number three.

I'm going to jump in.

It says, now, the word of the Lord came to

Jonah a second time. Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.

Verse three, Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. Now, Nineveh was a very large city like Los Angeles,

and it took three days to go through it. Jonah began by going a day's journey into the city

proclaiming 40 more days, and Nineveh will be overthrown. The Ninevites believe God. I love this. The Ninevites believe God.

A fast was proclaimed. That's kind of cool. The first thing that the city does to get right with God is fast.

A fast was proclaimed. So a fast was proclaim in all of them from the greatest to the least, from the six year olds to the 70 year olds, put on sackcloth.

When Jonah's warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat down in the dust.

I want to preach a message today,

today. Mama said, knock you out. Don't call it a comeback. Because I believe what's happening here

is parallel to our lives.

Says,

now the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time.

You need to know that we serve the God of second chances.
