Let's clap and thank the worship team for being so great today.

Jonah chapter one.

And we're going to just read the first, really, three verses of Jonah chapter one.

It says, now the word of the Lord came to Jonah.

The word of the Lord came to Jonah the word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amatai saying arise go to Nineveh that great city and cry out against it

for their wickedness has come up before me. But Jonah arose to flee

for Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish,

so he paid the fare. In other words, he willingly disobeyed the voice of God.

He willingly took out his Amex, swiped, said, I don't need a receipt.

I just want to get away from what God has for me.

I'm going to go to Tartius.

So he paid the fair and went down to it to go with them to Tartius from the presence of the Lord.

I want to preach a message today, write down the title, the first message of 2020.

It's called Runners High. Runners High.

And really what the title of this whole series that we're going to go through is called

running toward his will i want to look at the book of jona because god comes to jona and says
