Welcome to Potsy of the People in this episode.

It's me, Kai D.R. and Sam, as usual, talking about the news of the week that you might

not know about.

So we talk about food insecurity, voting rights.

Then I'm joined by Sarah Iannaron, who is running to be the next mayor of Portland,

and we talk about all that's happening in Portland and what can be done.

So my advice this week is that we often know it triggers us.

We know the things that we see in the news, that we see online, or that when people say

it just takes us to a different place, I've started to be much more aware of those in

my own life.

And because I'm owning that they do something to me, I'm able to just plan.

So the other day something happened and normally they were to put me in a tizzy, but I was

like, you know what, I get it.

I am going to be worked up for a second.

And then I'm just going to move on.

And I haven't always been able to do that.

And I'm telling you therapy works, therapy saves lives.

My therapist is amazing.

You know, we have to make sure that therapy is more accessible to more people.
