Hey, this is Duret and we're going to pause here to people.

In this episode it's me, Dior, Kaya and Sam, as usual,

talking about the news that you might not have heard in the past week,

but that's important.

And then I sit down with the least book to talk about the United Way of LA

and the work that's happening to fight homelessness and the work of the pandemic

to make sure that people have what they need.

Now, the advice that I have for you this week is about putting a stake in the ground.

We have to make sure that we move beyond the conversation in the theory

and that we actually put a stake in the ground.

That if we are ever going to get the progress that our lives deserve,

it means that we will have to make decisions about how to act,

where to act, what the biggest leathers are.

And that means that when you put a stake in the ground,

that people might criticize it, that means that some people might not like it.

But the only way we'll move forward is that people actually put two feet down

and say, this is what I believe.

This is what I think we should do.

And this is how I think we actually get to the big goal that we want to get to.

That it's not enough just to say, here is the goal.

We have to have a conversation about how we get there.

And that means that you put a stake in the ground, that you take risks.
