And the card is a picture of Keith the Sprout and it says thank you for so much of adopting me and making sure I don't get boiled this Christmas. You see, you're all as daft as I am, aren't you really? But anyway, thank you very much indeed. Anna from Chiswick reckons that Pierce Morgan will be off the breakfast show.

She says, in the new year, he just doesn't fit. The trouble is he's so desperately wants to be

sort of upper class and he's so low rent. He's so chav. And he doesn't do chav either. He does look

as though he's looking down his nose as a few people, you know, and perhaps it doesn't work. Perhaps it doesn't work. We'll wait and see. The only way you can tell on these figures is the figures. You know, it's, it's figures. And that's all I can tell you, actually. That's all I can tell you. It's based on that. It's on this program as well. It goes on the audience figures. You know, if there is no audience, then it's reflected in the figures and there's no advertising and if there's no advertising, no program. I've often said to people, you know, they say, you know, you sink or swim by your figures? I said, absolutely. What's the point of having a program, which does not rate? My boss will always say to me, he says, look at your figures, Steve. Your figures say it all. And that's exactly what it is. That's what it comes down to now. Never used to. Never used to. Years ago, as many of you'll testify, have listened to LBC, we never used to worry about things like that. But when we do get amazing figures, then we shout it from the rooftops. We have to. And so as we get ever nearer, the magical day, and we get ever nearer Christmas and kids getting very exciting and people going, yeah, I can't wait, what sort of presents are we going to get? And I said to my driver this morning, isn't it funny, that's what it's come down to. That's what it's come down to.
