Welcome to the third hour of this Friday night edition of

TBTO, our special Halloween broadcast. We started off the show tonight with a with a scary

story from our friend, david bows, but we've got another scary story for you coming up in just

a moment, one written by Edgar Allen Poe. Maybe you've heard of him, literally a close friend of

the show, except he died like a hundred years ago. But if he was alive today, I think he would be

a huge TBTO fan. I think I'm safe in saying that you don't you don't agree with Jennifer.

I just don't see him spending a lot of time with culture. Well, I mean, you've already established

you love Marilyn Manson and Trent Resner as people and he seems like he would kind of be vibing

with them, which I think would mean he'd be vibing with us a little bit. Oh, by the way, I would be

remiss if I didn't mention that this is TBTO after hours. Oh, scary. So usually we have sacks music

because it's Halloween. We have scary music. Now, TBTO after hours, this is our new thing we're doing

on Friday nights at nine o'clock. We like to present you the week and review, although this week,

it's going to be a special story time edition. And then after the news at 9.30, we'll play you some

music for your weekend. In this case, spooky music on account of it being Halloween. So getting

back to the tell tale, heart is written by Edgar Allen Poe in 1843. And it's one of the first

you know, sort of scary stories, I think, that I saw somebody do a dramatic reading of at school.

It's very popular, I think, in like high school drama classes and things like that. But I went back

and read it the other day and I thought it's actually really good. I don't want all of the terrible

high school readings of it to make people think it's not good because it's not at growl and poe. It's

the people who are reading it. So we just thought it's Halloween. Why not? Let's hear a scary story.
