Obsession, a slow death.

Some obsessions don't just consume you. they can reach out and consume everyone around you,

like in this horror experience shared by Leah.

Charlotte, Tina, and Rebecca had met in art class, bonding instantly over a shared love of drawing.

While other students doodled absent-mindedly, these three drew themselves into every sketch,

pushing each other to be better.

They challenge one another constantly, who could draw the scariest monster, the most twisted car, the tiniest detail in a building.

Their friendship grew from this obsession,

each of them addicted to the scratch of a pencil, on paper, and the thrill of creation. It was

a Friday evening when Tina invited Charlotte and Rebecca over for a sleepover. Her parents were

heading to a hotel for the night, leaving the house to the girls completely. Charlotte and Rebecca had imagined plain truth or dare, maybe even sneaking some boys over.

But Tina had only one idea in mind.

We're drawing, she said.

Bouncing on her toes, her dark hair fell into her face, eyes sparkling, nothing else.
