Okay, here we are. This is Jay Brown Yoga Talks podcast. My name is Jay Brown,

0:18.1

and apparently life is still happening. The world has not completely collapsed as of yet, apparently, although we may be on our way there.

That's an awful, cynical way to start this off. Forgive me, I didn't mean to do that. First, I would really just

0:38.6

want to welcome anybody who's new and thank everybody who's returning for doing so. But it has started

0:48.1

to feel more strained, hasn't it? I don't know where you are, but there's talk of reopening, but I'm not so sure.

0:59.8

It is certainly starting to feel much more like a marathon than a sprint.

1:06.7

And the question that everyone seems to be having, at least it's the conversation I've been having

1:12.4

all week with my fellow yoga teachers. Everyone's just sort of timidly wondering, is anybody

1:21.1

starting in-person classes again? And it almost seems like asking the question means that you're okay with people dying,

1:56.3

to do that right now? Are we going to have small classes and space them? Are we teaching and

2:02.9

practicing in masks? Nobody knows how to answer that question. And some people was just saying,

2:13.6

no, we just have to wait it out for longer. And then frankly, I had to, I canceled one,

2:19.5

I postponed another one until September, but that's still like a guessing game, right?

2:24.6

Who knows? It's really, I'm really feeling a lot of grief. And I really am not, I'm not ready to accept that I'm not going to be in

2:38.5

room with other people, that I'm not going to be able to hug people. I'm just not, I'm not ready

2:43.3

to accept it yet. Maybe I'm in denial, I don't know. I'm just not ready, not ready to accept

2:49.0

that, that we're just going to do these online classes only.
