Migrants in New York City, coming from where told the border, the border problem is far

away except Mayor Eric Adams travels to the border to El Paso.

To highlight his concern that the migrants coming to New York by bus sometimes by their

own logic.

They are overwhelming the New York City shelter situation and also the budget provided

for people who are in need.

So I go to a report about these migrants that looks to be contentious.

Daily news reporting, migrants at Midtown Hotel doubled down to fight move to Mayor Adams's

Red Hook Shelter Site.

To help me unpack this, the Midtown Hotel is the Watson Hotel in Hell's Kitchen and

the facility in Red Hook is said to be a shelter and emergency crisis center for people arriving

from outside.

I welcome Harry Siegel, a columnist at the New York Daily News as well as a senior editor

at the City of an online journal because this story begins in Manhattan, but it touches

on Washington, the White House, President Biden and also Albany, the governor's mansion

and governor Hokeholt.
