All right, I have a question.

So does this break like the mold of what we've seen before?

I mean, this is saying that unclean Israelites and sojourning non-Israelites can take the Passover.

I don't remember that sort of that category being created previously.

Well, my understanding of what's happening in this passage is not that unclean Israelites are participating in the Passover, but the Lord's giving them provision to

participate at a later time once they've established their cleansing.

Now, guys, last week, we thought we were going to start the journey toward the promised land.

But Moses decided to take us on a bit of a detour.

We talked about numbers 5 through 8, and that's mainly a flashback where he focuses on Israel's need for holiness now that God lives in their midst.

And I expected that we would go to chapter 9 in that last episode, but, you know, Sam, he's just typically slothful and

slow, and he wanted to slow us down and start our new episode here in Numbers Chapter 9.

So that's what we're going to talk about today, numbers 9 through 11, and finally Israel will

stop running in place and start moving. Now, Sam, where are they moving to? Where are they headed to? They're headed to

the land of Canaan, the land that God promised Abraham. And what are they going to do when they get there?

When they get to the land of Canaan, they're going to settle in it, and they are going to establish,
