by Hamas that claimed some 1,200 lives, left hundreds more held hostage and sparked a wider war.

Vice President Kamala Harris says the U.S. support for Israel remains unwavering.

We must work to ensure nothing like the horrors of October 7 can ever happen again.

And on this solemn day, I will restate my pledge to always ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself.

The Vice President also said the commitment to repair the world needs to be upheld, including relieving the suffering of Palestinian civilians

Abortion is illegal in Georgia again after approximately six weeks of pregnancy, that's after the

Georgia Supreme Court reinstated the abortion ban just a week after a lower court blocked it.

The Georgia Supreme Court ruling halts a recent decision by a lower court striking down the six-week abortion ban.

Six weeks is before many people realize they're pregnant and a Fulton County judge had ruled the abortion law violate state constitutional privacy rights.

The state is appealing that decision.

The Georgia High Court ruling allows the ban to remain in effect as it considers

the case.
