The death toll in Morocco now tops 2,800 after a powerful earthquake last Friday, rescuers

are still trying to reach remote villages, and peers learn frayers in the Atlas Mountains

near the epicenter.

Moroccan soldiers are handing out blankets to Quake survivors spending a fourth night

out in the cold.

18-year-old Eman Erbeen describes escaping from her house as it collapsed around her.

We wear screaming, we go outside, and the people less screaming, it's very, very dangerous.

In this mountain town nearly every building bears damage, but it's nevertheless become

a staging area for rescuers trying to get higher up, past roads strewn with boulders

to villages running out of food and water.

They're using sniffer dogs to search for signs of life in collapsed buildings.

Roads are clogged with aid, convoys coming in, and ambulance is going out.

Rescue teams on the ground in Turkey since earlier this month have now rescued an American

cave researcher, 40-year-old Mark Dickie, suffered a health emergency and was stuck 3,400

feet below the surface, but rescuers moved in part of the way over the weekend and today

he is out.

Dickie suffered gastrointestinal bleeding while on a mapping expedition in the southern

Tars Mountains, more than 150 rescuers worked to rescue him from one of the deepest caves

in the world.
