When dozens of opponents of the controversial Atlanta Police Training Center were indicted

on racketeering charges last week, something novel happened.

The names of the grand jurors were not listed on the indictment.

As Ham Green glass of member station W.A.B.E. reports, the omission comes after grand jurors

who indicted former president Trump last month were doxed online.

The home addresses of grand jurors assigned to Trump's case ended up on a Russia-based

website and they faced harassment and threats.

Georgia Law requires indictments to list grand juror names.

But when the state attorney general's office brought their latest rico indictment last

week, they asked a judge for a redaction, saying the jurors feared retribution.

In an order obtained by W.A.B.E., judge Emily Richardson ruled the names could be redacted

from the publicly available copy.

Meanwhile in the Trump case, D.A.Fani Willis is moving to prevent anyone from publicizing

information about future jurors.

Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has lost his bid to move his Georgia election

subversion case from state to federal court.

Meadows had argued he was acting within his role as a federal official, working with

then-President Donald Trump.

As a result, the Georgia case should be moved, however, U.S. District Court Judge

disagreed.
