Texas' suspended attorney general Ken Paxton will face an impeachment trial in the state

Senate that starts tomorrow.

As the Texas newsrooms, Sarah Hill Martinez-Baltron reports Ken Paxton faces 20 impeachment

charges.

Texas attorney general Ken Paxton has been accused of constitutional bribery, obstruction

of justice and conspiracy.

According to Texas House impeachment managers, Paxton tried to use his office to shield

a political donor from an FBI investigation.

He did it, despite his top staff telling him not to do so.

Paxton has denied any wrongdoing.

Now Texas senators will hold a trial.

The witness list is over 100 names long and the trial is expected to last weeks.

If convicted, Paxton will be removed from office.

President Joe Biden was in Philadelphia today, marking the Labor Day holiday, by telling

a crowd gathered for a Labor Day parade that he is celebrating Union jobs.

President appeared at the Tri-State Labor Day Parade.

His appearances come during what has been a particularly active summer for organized labor

in the U.S.

Biden told reporters he did not think nearly 146,000 UAW members will go on strike against

the major automakers.
