Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he's replacing his defense minister with 41-year-old

Rustam Umarov, a lawmaker.

This comes after two people were hospitalized, following a three-and-a-half overnight Russian

drone attack on a port in the Odessa region today.

Zelensky says the country needs new approaches and different ways of interacting between the

military and civilians, Hannah Palomarenko has more.

The attack lasted more than three hours.

Air Force officials say a total of 25 Russian drones were launched, 22 of which were shut

down.

According to the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, the port infrastructure

was hit.

Two employees were injured and the fire broke out.

The day before the attack, two more cargo vessels left the port in the Odessa region

through the temporary corridor that began operating at the beginning of August.

The route is used for ships that were trapped in the Ukrainian ports at the time of the full

scale Russian invasion.

Officials say both ships made it through safely and are now heading to Turkey.
