In Israel, hundreds of thousands poured into the streets of Jerusalem today protesting the government

just days after IDF forces found six hostages including an Israeli-American citizen

dead inside Gaza.

The demonstrators say they're frustrated at the deaths blaming the government, including Prime

Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of not doing enough to secure an agreement.

Today he apologized but again said the war will continue until Israel eliminates Hamas.

There was a strike by thousands of Israeli workers today,

but that ended when a court ordered them back to work,

hundreds of schools and businesses had closed because of the strike.

Vice President Harris is campaigning in two union

stronghold states on this Labor Day holiday. At a rally in Detroit

earlier today she emphasized the dignity of work. For generations in Detroit and

across our nation the brothers and sisters of labor have stood together

to righteously demand fair pay better benefits and safe working conditions.

He is then headed to Pittsburgh to rally with President Biden where she is expected to say that U.S.

Steel needs to remain in domestic hands.

That's in reference to the announcement last December,
