Former President Donald Trump could be facing criminal charges in Georgia for his alleged

efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Barricades are in place around the federal courthouse in Fulton County ahead of a possible

indictment.

Sam Greenglass of Member Station, W-A-B-E reports Trump is already facing indictments in

New York, Florida, and Washington, D.C.

Fulton County District Attorney Fawney Willis has suggested she, too, will bring charges

focused on the 2020 election fallout.

Prosecutors are expected to present their case in front of a grand jury sometime in the

next two weeks.

Georgia was one of several swing states that were a target of the Trump campaign's post-election

activities.

The U.S. government's credit rating was downgraded last week, angering the Treasury

Department and triggering a major sell-off on Wall Street.

Steve Beckner reports the surprise action by credit agency Fitch had other financial

repercussions as well.

An abulliant Wall Street had lately pushed stocks to their highest levels of the year,

despite Federal Reserve interest rate hikes.

But Fitch's decision to strip the U.S. of its AAA rating-shocked traders.

The NASDAQ composite plunged over 2 percent.
