The Justice Department is asking for a protective order after former President Donald Trump

posted online what could be interpreted as a threat.

This after his indictment in Washington Thursday on charges he tried to interfere with the

2020 election.

NPR's Ron Elving has more.

The former President posted on social media quote if you go after me I'm coming after

you in all caps and the Justice Department wasted no time asking the federal judge over

seeing the case to issue a protective order against Trump.

Now this is not the same as a gag order or he couldn't discuss the case at all but the

prosecution is about to share a great deal of information with the defense, confidential

information, grand jury testimony and the like and the judge does not want to see that

on social media.

NPR's Ron Elving, Trump's lawyers have until Monday to respond.

Two Israeli settlers were arrested today after the killing of a Palestinian yesterday

from Jerusalem, Natan Odinheimer has more.

On Friday a group of settlers stormed into a small Palestinian village near Ramallah

shooting a 19 year old man who died from his injuries.

On Saturday Israeli police said that they arrested two men as suspects.

One of the men was previously arrested in 2022 as a suspect in a burglary of Palestinian

property.

However the same man later served as an aide to a member of parliament from the Jewish
