Ukraine's president, Vladimir Zelensky, is leaving the NATO summit with no clear timeline

for when his country might join the military alliance.

Both he and President Biden are pointing to new security guarantees as a mark of success.

Zelensky was asked by a reporter if he was satisfied with what he got from NATO, and he

suggested he was, specifically mentioning the pledge for long-term security assistance

from the United States, as well as other countries in the G7.

Biden had a similar message for reporters traveling with him on Air Force One.

One thing Zelensky understands now is that whether or not he's in NATO now is not relevant

as long as he has the commitments.

Some NATO members, including the U.S., are insisting that in order for Ukraine to join

NATO, the war with Russia needs to end first.

Temperatures in Phoenix have been above a 110 degrees every day since June 30, and the

area remains under an excessive heat warning through next Tuesday.

As Catherine Davis-Young reports, from Member Station KJZZ, a major electric provider in

the region expects to see record demand this week.

Keeping air conditioners running through a two-week long excessive heat warning will likely

require the Phoenix Area Utility SRP to provide even more power than during last year's

peak, says SRP's Pam Siriella.

our peak demand needs increasing year over year.
