President Biden is in London, with stops scheduled later this week in Lithuania and Finland.

And Piers-Azmahalid reports a big priority on this European trip is highlighting the

strength of America's alliances.

Here in the UK, Biden will meet with King Charles for the first time since Charles officially

became king.

The two men will discuss climate change, a big priority for both of them.

And will also meet with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

This will be their sixth time meeting since Sunak took office less than a year ago.

And this frequency speaks to the importance of that special relationship between the US

and the UK.

The two leaders have really prioritized the war in Ukraine, and that's expected to be a

top issue for Biden throughout this trip.

Later in the week he'll be attending a NATO summit in Lithuania, where the issue of

NATO expansion will be a key topic.

Russia is denouncing Turkey and Ukraine for violating a prisoner exchange agreement they

negotiated last year.

And Piers-Charles Mainz reports this comes after Turkey sent home five Ukrainian commanders.

The men have been leaders of the Azov Regiment, soldiers who surrendered to Russian forces following

an extended siege in the Ukrainian city of Mediopol, but were later released to Turkish

authorities in a prisoner exchange, brokered by Ankara.
