President Biden and. President Donald Trump square off next week.

NPR's Asma Hollad says Biden's going to Camp David today to prepare for the highly

anticipated presidential face-off.

Biden and Trump last met on the debate stage in the fall of 2020.

But the dynamics are different now.

It is Biden, not Trump, who is the sitting president, and Biden hasn't had as much time to prepare

as he did four years ago. Biden's a really a big homework guy. Jim Messina ran

Barack Obama's re-election bid in 2012. They're going to go to camp David, do debate camp there, getting him away from the

White House where things could come up.

When NPR asked the Trump campaign about its debate prep. A spokesperson said the former president

has had practice with lengthy rallies demonstrating his quote elite stamina.
