The head of the Ronbach militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon says fighters have new weapons and intelligence capabilities that could help it target more strategically

important positions further inside Israel.

The Bureau's Jane Arraf reports the Hezbollah leader issued a new warning about the prospects

of even bigger war beyond Israel's conflict against Hamas

in Gaza.

Hassan Nasranla said in a televised speech through an interpreter that Hezbollah didn't

want war, but if it happened, it would engulf the Mediterranean Sea region.

If they open a war in Lebanon, the situation in the Mediterranean Sea would become completely different.

Israel's main ports are in the Mediterranean,

and Israel has a stake in gas fields off the Lebanese coast.

Nasrala also warned the government of Cyprus,

a member of the European Union, not to continue hosting Israeli troops or fighter jets.

The village of Redoso New Mexico remains evacuated while crews continue to battle two wildfires
