Coleman, Republicans on Capitol Hill have rallied around former President Donald Trump after

he pleaded not guilty yesterday to 37 criminal counts.

NPR's Deer DeWalls reports on lawmakers who say Trump should still be the front-runner

for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

Missouri GOP Senator Josh Hawley says he believes former President Trump will still get

the Republican Party's nomination for president in 2024.

He argues the criminal indictment was politically motivated, and he doesn't expect it to change

voters' minds.

There's always a lot of a lot around President Trump, so I don't know that voters, this

is really not a change, right?

We could do impeachment trials, multiple indictment, secutations, whatever.

There is a small group of Republican senators who say it's time to move on and get behind

an alternate candidate who supports the same policies as Trump, but without his legal

problems.

Satellite imagery shows a giant reservoir in southern Ukraine is nearing its bottom after

a critical dam collapse last week.

NPR's Jeff Brumfield reports the loss of the reservoir will have big implications for

the region.

Images taken by the European Space Agency show what appear to be a web of sandy sediments

beginning to emerge at the bottom of the Kahovka reservoir.
