Planned Parenthood rallies are taking place across the country this weekend, the rallies

which were planned in response to a Texas judges decision to reverse FDA approval of a common

abortion pill came a day after the Supreme Court put a temporary stay on that ruling.

M. Pearce-Katelin-Rattie has more.

On the steps of the Supreme Court, abortion rights supporters said they were outraged

by the legal assault on Mifapristown.

The pill is commonly used in medication abortions, which account for more than half of abortion

in the U.S.

Brittany House says an abortion improved her life.

I'm standing before you today, 11 years later, safe, healthy, financially stable, and

a loving relationship.

I'm planning my wedding this year, so I'm super excited about that.

But again, I wouldn't have any of those things if it weren't for safe legal access to abortion.

Nearby, abortion rights opponents also gathered.

The Supreme Court's stay puts the Texas ruling on hold through Wednesday.

An industrial fire broke out Saturday in the coastal Georgia City of Brunswick, about

50 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida.

No injuries were reported, but the fire prompted a shelter-in-place order for residents.
