A federal jury in Washington, D.C., has convicted four members of the far-right Oath Keepers

group on multiple counts, including seditious conspiracy.

And Pierce Kerry Johnson reports on the latest developments stemming from the massive

Justice Department investigation.

This is the second group of Oath Keepers to be charged with attempting to overthrow

the government by using force and connection with the attack on Congress on January 6, 2021.

The group's leaders, Stuart Rhodes and the top deputy were convicted of seditious conspiracy

in November.

Judge Amit Mehta is allowing these defendants to remain free on 24-hour house arrest while

they wait for sentencing.

The verdict comes as leaders of another extremist group, the proud boys, stand trial on similar

conspiracy and obstruction charges.

Investigators in Southern California are continuing their probe into a mass shooting over

the weekend at the Lunar New Year celebration, the death toll rising today to 11.

As authorities say, a 72-year-old man opened fire over the weekend into dance hall in the

city of Monoray Park.

He attempted to carry out a second shooting at another club, but was thwarted.

Police said this suspected gunman later took his own life.

Authorities say the shooter had recently visited a local police station, claiming his family

was poisoning him.
