Authorities in Los Angeles say an operation involving an armed suspect is over.

It's possibly connected to a shooting in a dance studio near Los Angeles overnight that

left 10 people dead, 10 others wounded.

Later a second similar incident took place at another dance studio, but no one was harmed.

NC responders arrived around 10, 22 p.m. local time to a ballroom dance studio in Monterey

Park, a predominantly Asian American community.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says there were numerous victims inside

the business and outside in the parking lot.

LA County Sheriff Robert Luna says the suspect is an Asian male between the ages of 30

and 50, weighing 150 pounds and 5 foot 10.

Authorities also believe the suspect entered another dance hall with a fire arm in a town

north of Monterey Park, but individuals at that ballroom were able to wrestle the fire

arm away from the gunman before he took off.

Vice President Hera spoke this afternoon in Tallahassee, marking what would have been
