The White House said Friday that its intelligence that shows North Korea is providing arms and

ammunition to Russian mercenaries working for an organization called the Wagner Group.

And they say those arms are being used against Ukraine.

In a news conference, they release satellite images that they say prove those claims.

National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby says the Treasury Department is designating

the Wagner Group as a significant transnational criminal organization.

With these actions and there will be more to come, our message to any company that

is considering providing support to Wagner is simply this.

Wagner is a criminal organization that is continuing wide, I'm sorry, committing wide

spread atrocities and human rights abuses.

And we will work relentlessly to identify, disrupt, expose and target those who are assisting

Wagner.

Former President Trump is dropping a Florida lawsuit against New York Attorney General

Letitia James, as NPR's Andrea Bernstein reports.

It's part of a series of failed efforts to block New York State's $250 million fraud lawsuits.

Trump's decision to drop the case comes on the heels of a ruling by a federal judge in

Florida finding the former president and his lawyer nearly a million dollars for filing

a frivolous lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, the DNC and others.

In that case, the judge wrote starkly, this case should never have been brought.

Now in a briefly worded statement, Trump's lawyers are pulling back their case against

New York AG James.
