side effects from Tuesday's election. The Democratic Party's soul-searching their blame game about really very likely,

depending on what happens with the remaining House races, possibly having no real influence

in Washington, D.C. come January.

And the Trump administration's transition and what all this tells us about Trump 2.0.

I want to start with some news that broke last night.

President-elect Trump announced that Susie Wiles will be his White House chief of staff,

his first big announcement since Tuesday.

She, of course, was his campaign manager, has a long history in Republican politics,

especially in Florida.

She's someone who folks give credit for kind of reviving Trump's political operation after 2020.

What are you hearing from Republicans here in Washington about the pick? And do you think

it tells us anything about the direction about the new administration? Yeah, look, I mean,

Republicans across the board are thrilled for one basic raising in gene. And that is because
