Yesterday afternoon, Vice President Kamala Harris officially conceded the president of race.

Y'all, the mood was bleak the night before. It was full of Howard Bison, her sorority sisters,

strolling, having fun, lots of music. And on Wednesday, it was mostly, if not exclusively, staff and Democrats who were bleary-eyed and crying.

At one point, me and Maya watched them after Harris was done kind of walk, all kind of in a line to leave, all crying.

It was quite the sight.

Vice President Harris said that while she concedes, quote,

this election, I do not concede the fight that feud this campaign. For months, Harris told voters

that they're not going back to the Trump years, but on Tuesday, as you guys know, voters decided

not only were they fine with going back, they preferred it almost across the board. And that's

leaving Democrats a little bit lost and confused right now. One thing I found really interesting

about Harris's speech is that as she was talking, it was clear that this was a speech written

for and given by someone who wants to be a key figure and whatever resistance the Democrats

are able to muster up during the Trump years. And you might be seeing it play out on X.

We're seeing a big old lame game. This was always going to happen, folks. I'm expecting those

recriminations to only get louder today in the days and weeks and years to come.
