It's Wednesday, November 6th, and Donald Trump has won the presidency, completing a stunning political comeback that is going to have immense reverberations here in Washington, across America, and around the world.

Here's where things stand as we speak early this morning. Politico and other media organizations have projected Trump has won enough electoral

votes to secure the presidency, winning Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia, with leads in the

crucial blue wall states of Michigan and Wisconsin, which were must wins for Democratic nominee Kamala

Harris. The Senate, meanwhile, has gone solidly Republican behind him. Republicans Jim

Justice in West Virginia and Bernie Moreno in Ohio flip Democratic seats red, and Republicans

hold leads in several other Democratic-held states. The House, meanwhile, remains in question,

and we might not know for days yet how it will shake out.
