We're back with Gene and Chris on the Paraccast, and we have a very interesting guest coming up a little bit later in the show.

As a matter of fact, we've gotten more questions for this guest than any other.

So we could almost do a show sitting here and having Chris reading questions, and I just sit back.

But anyway, you know, we get lots

of interesting letters from listeners. Some hate us. Some love us. Some are in the middle. Some

have constructive criticisms. So there was one message posted in our forums from somebody who probably

doesn't like me because he resented these movie references that I make occasionally, and I regard movies

as popular culture and sometimes as an indication of where people are in our society.

And so I will mention a movie from time to time to put everybody in the same framework.

So in the previous episode we did with Brad Steiger, this person thought I was trying to get attention from Hollywood. You know, guys,

I'm too old for this stuff, you know. I don't want to use the word that Danny Glover used in the lethal weapon movies to use a comparison.

There was a line he'd given several of those movies, I'm too old for this, you know what, which we can't say in the radio.

You're doing it again, Gene.

Right, I'm doing it again.

I don't care.

But, you know, the point being that I don't care if Hollywood notices me or not, it's too late.

You know, if they want to, you know, give a part to an aging baby boomer from Brooklyn, I guess I'm there.

Well, they can turn rockoids into a huge blockbuster, multi-million dollar production.

You know, I wouldn't mind that at all.

But remember, my son's only 27, so he'll be around to see that happen.
