Summary

He's back. One of the most prolific paranormal authors in the field, Brad Steiger, returns to The Paracast to talk about his new book, "Real Encounters, Different Dimensions, and Otherworldly Beings." This thick book covers all sorts of mysterious and unpredictable paranormal subjects, and focuses on a whole range of unusual beings, such as ghosts, phantoms, poltergeist, ETs, strange animals and even monsters. Brad was, in fact, on the very first episode in The Paracast in February of 2006 and remains one of our most fascinating guests.

mentioned the fact that Art Bell tried to do a comeback that didn't go along very well,

1:15.7

and after a few weeks he stopped doing a show for Sirius XM.

1:19.7

And we made a few comments.

1:21.0

I think one of the most important issues being the fact that the name of the show, Art Bell's Dark Matter,

1:27.1

conflicted with Don Eckers show, Dark Matters, and show, Art Bell's Dark Matter, conflicted with Don

1:28.2

Eckers' show, Dark Matters, and of course Art Bell knows Don Eckers, so we wondered

1:32.5

about that.

1:33.5

We also brought out the fact that, you know, when you try to come back, you know, people

1:37.7

in show business try to make a comeback, it doesn't always work, especially if you try to

1:42.3

do the same old thing and not adapt to the

1:44.8

times, come up with the new guys, if you get the picture. Well, we got an email from somebody who

1:50.8

I guess is an Art Bell fan, and that particular person said they will never ever listen to the

1:57.4

paracast again because of the way we attacked Art Bell.
