Seriously speaking, on last week's show, of course, we featured Matthew Williams,

which is the Crop Circle artist, real fascinating guy.

And then we got a letter from someone who said that the fact that he had been involved in UFOs and all that stuff

should not have been sufficient cause for him to lose his job.

I don't know anything about the civil service policies in the UK.

But you know, I wondered what kind of audience

a Crop Circle show would get. And I have to think, other than an early episode we did with

he who shall not be named, who was a follower of the one-armed man, Crop Circles has gotten more of a reaction.

Chris, why is that?

Well, that's a good question.

I'm actually kind of surprised at the amount of repartee that's going on at forum.

com, we're piling up the thread postings pretty quickly here. My inbox on my email program is just

page after page after page of Matthew Williams Circlemaker as the header. I think a lot of it, Gene,

is that there are a lot of people that really are impressed by the wonderful sort of sublime nature of crop circles.

And there are people that really don't want to hear that these are made by people.

And to have somebody come on who can demonstrate at least partially to my satisfaction

that a majority of these formations, the more complicated, more beautiful

ones, for instance, are manmade. This being the case, I think it's generated a lot of back
