then murdering her, dies of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a standoff with police.

A woman who was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a registered sex offender,

escaped after biting off his genitals, according to an incident report released this week

by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. Around here, this counts as good news.

According to the Greenville News, this incident took place on August 8th of this year.

The woman whose name has not been released to the media told law enforcement she'd agreed to

meet 61-year-old Dennis Slayton at a gas station in Greenville. After she willingly got into his

car, Slayton pulled out a knife, held it to her throat, and yelled that she owed him $300.

He drove her to his house where he sexually assaulted her. During the assault, Slayton told the

woman he was going to kill her after he was done. The woman fought back, biting Slayton's penis

clean off before wrestling away his knife and stabbing him in the buttocks. She then ran out of his

house, naked, and bloody, and started knocking on neighbor's doors begging for help. None of them

would open their doors. After running for a mile, the woman reached a waffle house restaurant,

where employees provided her with clothes to cover herself, and then called police.
