Ladies and gentlemen, it is Rivalry Week in South Bend.

Notre Dame, the 13th ranked team in the country hosts the 20th ranked in 5-1 U.S.C. Trojans in a battle for the jeweled Shaleli this Saturday night in South Bend, Indiana.

Under the Lights, kickoff is at 7.30 p.m. inside of Notre Dame Stadium. Right now, Notre Dame is

nine and a half point favorites on Fandul. The over under is set at 61.5. This is a huge, huge game.

I can't wait to talk about all the implications for this game,

all the different storylines for this game.

And Brian, you and I were talking before the show,

as fun as it is, talking about Arkansas and Boise State and NC State and Purdue,

and these are the matchups that you love to cover when you talk Notre Dame football.

Notre Dame USC and the

greatest intersectional rivalry in college football had to make sure I got that right this time

around. This is going to be a huge, huge one in South Bend, Brian. I'm excited to dive into it this week.

I mean, I was kind of looking forward to having some fun talking about the transcontinental rivalry that's happening this weekend. But, you know, you got it right. You nailed it, Treb. This is, this is always a great week. And it's always a fun week to talk about it because it's not just about the analysis and the X's and O's and the breakdowns, which we do. But, you know, we're both Notre Dame fans. We've been notary fans our whole lives and this is that

that one rivalry that you really get excited about i mean i have a great deal of respect for the navy

rivalry but it's not one where it's like it's navy week baby let's go it just it's not that same kind

of rivalry notary neter name hasn't played michigan in the regular season since 2019 and you know

then they played in 2018 before that their last meeting was back in 2014. It just, the last 15, 20 years, that just hasn't been a big rivalry. And then, of course, there was a period of time where it was Charlie Weiss versus Rich Rod, and that was a terrible rivalry. And then it was Brian Kelly versus Brady Hoke, and it wasn't, you know, a great rivalry, some weird games.

But, and that was never a rivalry that I viewed like this one.

I have a respectful disdain for USC.

And the respectful disdain is not from a, I dislike and despise your program like I feel about Michigan.

It's more of a, I am still remembering
