I'm Brian Driscoll, and we are here to talk Notre Dame football. Got a jam-pack show for you guys today. Got a lot going on. One to two, we're going to talk, we're going to kind of kick off today

our replace and reload series, Treb. Well, we're going to look at positions where Notre Dame

lost, you know, starters, impact players, and even some positions where they lost multiple guys.

And how are they going to replace that? Some positions we're going to kind of wait until after the

portal to talk about because the portal is going to have to address those positions but there's other

positions that we're going to kind of look at and say hey listen this is this is where they are these

are the questions it's not so much a spring preview we want it's about position battles and

stuff like that it's more of of an overall view of the position, who are the contenders

that go into the offseason in position to say, hey, I'm the guy at this position.

And so we're going to have that conversation, and it's going to be a lot of fun. We're going

to then preview the college football playoffs. The semifinal games are today.

We'll preview those. And then we're going to do a mailback at the end of the day. And the reason that we're going to do a mailbag, Trev, is because we're not going to talk about the portal right now as a featured segment. Listen, I could easily take the anger and frustration that's out there about the portal. Some of it justified,

some of an incredible overreaction based on some faulty reporting or some faulty logic.

Part of it's Notre Dame's fault, the fact that they're just terrible at PR and unwilling

to kind of, you know, be more open about what's going on like other teams are. Part of it's just

people are

looking for something to talk about in the offseason. And again, some of it's justified. But

the reality is, is we're on day four of the portal and it's a two-week process. And look,

we could come here today and feed off that frustration and anger. And I promise you, if I said,

hey, we're talking portal today in the show, we'd have five, six times more people in the show today than we're going to have talking about tight ends. And I can make good money. But I'm not really into the rage bait thing. You guys know that. What I'm going to say is I put some thoughts up on the message board last night. And I will have some thoughts about what's going on in the mailbag, but I'm more going to let you guys ask those questions,

and then I'll try to answer them, you know, honestly and truthfully and give as much detail as I'm

able to give. But the reality is, Trevor, this is a two-week process, and there are guys in the
