We're talking about the college football playoff semifinals, and we're going to preview the final two of the three final games that are going to happen in this year's college football playoffs. And we're going to go in order of kickoff time. So, you know, first we're going to be talking about the Verbo Fiesta Bowl, and then we're going to follow that up, talk about the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

But it's the final four teams, Brian. And I would be lying if I said that I had these four teams pegged. I got one of the, really at the start of this year's playoffs, I have one team correct in my final four. And that's the Indiana Hoosiers. We're going to talk about them here in a little bit. But two teams that I did not see making it to this point are two teams that are playing in the Fiesta Bowl. And that is the 10th-seated Miami Hurricanes versus the six-seated Ole Miss Rebels. That's this Thursday, January 8th.

It's going to be in Glendale, Arizona,

inside a state farm stadium.

Right now, Miami is favored by three and a half points.

And the over under is set at 51.5.

So, Brian, very interesting matchup happening on Thursday night.

I got to correct you, Trevor, because you're talking about a matchup between Miami and Ole Miss.

But what just came across X is that the playoff committee decided that Alabama's field goal drive was so impressive against Indiana.

And that they held Indiana below 40 points that they're actually going to pull Ole Miss out because they don't have a head coach, and they're going to put Bama in because they were really impressed. Like nobody keeps Indiana under 40 points in a playoff game, except for Notre Dame last year. Well, I mean, shoot, Brian. You got to think about strength of schedule in the postseason. Alabama had to play in Norman. They had to play Indiana. And Ole Miss, the strength of schedule is clearly not strong enough. So they don't have a chance against Indiana.

So what they're going to do is they're going to give Alabama another crack at it against Miami. And, you know, that's kind of what's going to happen there because that, I mean, anyone else would have lost by 45, not 35. I mean, everyone else would have lost by 35.

Well, and you got to factor in because of their rigorous regular season,

they were just so exhausting at the time they got.

And they had to travel.

In all seriousness.
