All right, Brian, we are going to wrap up today by talking about the defensive class for the

24 recruiting class. And it's a little bit different of a conversation, what we had on

offense. On defense, this is more of a, gosh, I'm trying to think of the best way to put it.

There's a lot of supporting members in this.

What's interesting about the sophomore class on defense, Trevor, is there's a difference

between the potential of the class and the need of the class.

Leonard Moore has to be a star.

You need them to be a star.

The rest of them, you just need to give you depth.

You just need Bryce Young to be a good part of your

defensive end rotation you just need Kingston to be a good part of your linebacker rotation you just

hope that Sean Sevalano can give you some nice minutes you hope that Bronte Johnson can crack the

two deep at that position you hope that Carson Hobbs can it. So there's a lot of all the need for,

you don't need Bronte Johnson to emerge as a starter. If he does, great, but you don't need it.

You need him to be a depth, a good depth player. You don't need Carson Hobbs to outplay Leonard Moore

or Christian Gray. You need him to give you a good, to give you good depth to where if something happens,

one of those guys, he can step in. You don't need Kingston to be a first team all-American

this year. You just need him to be a good depth, rotation player for you, which is exactly

what he was last year. But here's what makes it interesting. There's also a lot more potential

star power in 2025 on defense than on offense.

On offense, you need C.J. Carr to step in and be the guy.

You need Anthony Knapp to step in and be a really good football player left tackle.
