All right, Brian, we're talking sophomore class, and we're going to get a little bit more granular with this conversation.

And where we're going to begin is on the offensive side of the ball.

Now, we talked about it in the first part of the show of this segment, about how the 2024 recruiting class is.

And when you look at it on paper, to me, I don't know what your thoughts are on this.

But the sophomore class, I think, is naturally just going to carry a little bit more weight on

offense this year as opposed to defense.

All will have important roles.

Offense and defense will be impacted by the 2024 class differently,

but I think the offense, mainly around a handful at like two positions really,

kind of carry the weight of, okay, the offense is really going to feel this 2024 class.

We talked about big picture. Every aspect of this team is going to be touched by the sophomore class

on offensive defense. And I think the special teams is going to have a lot of influence as well.

We're going to look at guys like Bodie Kuhn and Teddy Rezak and guys like that. We'll talk about

them later. But to your point, when you look at the desired impact, with the exception of Leonard

Moore, you don't need any other sophomore

to play at an elite level.

I'm going to talk about the impact that Bryce Young could have if he was an elite.

The impact that King's and William Asa could have, but neither one of those guys have to be

studs at their positions for Notre Dame to compete for a championship. I think they can just be

good players. I think Notre Dame needs more than just good solid depth players at more spots on offense than they do on defense. I think you're absolutely correct. And it really starts with, like you said, the important positions, you talk about left tackle, you talk about quarterback, and we're going to kind of dive into each one. But the reality of it is Trev is the offensive, the offense especially is going to need this

sophomore class to step up because they're an injury away almost everywhere from a sophomore

stepping into the lineup.
