If USC and Stanford are no longer annual games for Notre Dame,

must a West Coast team replace one of them annually?

I mean, it's been a priority for Notre Dame for, what, more than two decades now?

They've finished every season on the West Coast against either USC in Southern California or Stanford in Northern California since they've had this arrangement with both.
