I'm Pete Sampson with Tim Priestern, Tim O'Malley.

Some off-season news to get to.

0:16.1

We've got questions for readers and some recruiting developments, as there always are every time of year, not just this

0:21.3

time of year. But before we get started, we're about a week removed from the death of Greg Bryant

0:27.8

shot when he was home in southern Florida. I was about to return to UAB for sort of his

0:34.5

summer session there. I had been a spring semester student there training with the

0:39.3

football team and I I guess I was struck by the I guess outpouring of emotion for a player

0:46.5

1:32.2

And we don't, I mean, ultimately, or at least at this point, we don't know exactly why he's

1:39.1

no longer with us, the reasons behind it.

1:42.4

But it's just really unfortunate because here was a kid that had he maximized his ability,

1:48.3

he was going to be playing football for a long time and couldn't do that.

1:52.7

And it was just, you know, it was unfortunate.

1:55.3

He had a great opportunity at Notre Dame and couldn't keep it together and follow through with it.

2:00.1

And he was very likable too.
